Question: What Is RFQ?
Answer:
RFQ helps you connect with interested buyers of your items. You receive Buying offers for items in your selected Categories. If you have the RFQed item, you can respond to the buyer online. The buyer can then choose to accept or not accept your price and terms. It's a unique opportunity for both buyer and supplier to complete transactions on sought items at decent prices. And, you have a complete online record for your transactions.

Question: How Do I Control the RFQs I Receive?
Answer: When you sign up as a Supplier with RFQ , you choose the Categories most relevant to your products. If you want to change your Categories, you can Edit your information after signing in. Sign in here Site Manager.

Question: Do I Have to Make an Offer on Everything?
Answer:
You can make an Offer on any RFQ that you receive. Once you make an Offer, that price is binding until the date that you entered in the 'Quote Expirey Date.'

Question: How Will I Know if I Have New RFQ's?
Answer:
You can always log into your Site Manager and check the latest RFQ Offers. This page lists the incoming RFQ's. You will also be notified daily of any new RFQs via email.

Question: How Long Do I Have to Make an Offer?
Answer: Buyers specify in their RFQ how long they want it to remain open (generally at least several days). You can make an Offer up to the End Date or until the buyer accepts one of the Offers.

Question: Can the Buyer Close their RFQ Early?
Answer: If the buyer receives an acceptable Offer, the RFQ can be Closed. It is to the supplier's advantage to make an Offer as soon as possible.

Question: How Do I Make an Offer?
Answer:
Once a RFQ appears on AsianProducts, you can view it and choose whether or not you want to meet it. If you decide to make an Offer, you are provided with a special form to post your offer. You also enter any relevant Specifications, your Payment methods and your Price. Once you Submit, the Offer Price will be listed next to the RFQ on your Quote Manager page and the status will say "Awaiting Authorization."

Question: What is "Awaiting Authorization?"
Answer: Once you have posted a RFQ or quotation its status will be "Awaiting Authorization" All RFQ's and quotations are carefully checked to ensure 100 percent accuracy. During this time your quotation cannot be seen by the buyer. If accepted, your quotation can be viewed within 48 hours of posting.

Question: Do I Know Who Else is Making Offers?
Answer: You won’t know who else is making Offers. Only the buyer knows how many suppliers have submitted quotations.

Question: How Will I Know if the Offer Has Been Accepted?
Answer: If a buyer accepts your Offer, you will receive an "Accepted" email with contact information on your buyer. The buyer also receives an email with your information. You or the buyer will be required to make contact with one another to arrange Payment and Shipping. If your Offer is declined, it will show up as "Declined" in your Quote Manager page.

Question: How Does the Buyer Contact Me if There Are Questions?
Answer:
Buyers have access to your email address from their RFQ manager page. If they have any questions or concerns they can contact you directly. Please make sure this information is accurate.

Question: What Are the Fees?
Answer:
Advertisers on AsianProducts can post unlimited quotations. XXX You are not charged for viewing the RFQs or signing up.

Question: How frequently can I update or change my catalog listings?
Answer: Once your product is listed on the site, you have direct online access to your company's contact information at any time.

Question: Do I have to list ALL of my products?
Answer: No. At AsianProducts.com you decide what you want to list, which products and at what price.

Question: Are there any tips for making my listing more attractive to potential bidders?
Answer: There are many things Suppliers can do to help generate bidding activity on their listings:

Good Pricing. AsianProducts.com Buyers tend to be experienced volume buyers. They know a good deal when they see one. Set your asking price. Remember that you can lower the price at any time during the negotiation.

Comprehensive Product Information. The more details that are posted to a listing, the better. Think about the questions that you would ask if you were considering purchasing the product.

Photographs and Specifications. Listings that have digital photographs and detailed product specifications attached are more likely to sell.

Inspection and Samples. Make your product available for potential Buyers to inspect.

Prompt Answers. If a potential Buyer emails a question to you, get back to them in one day or less.

Question: What does it cost buyers to use the site?
Answer: AsianProducts.com services are available free of charge to all qualified buyers.

Question: Will the information I enter be made public?
Answer: Your personal privacy and the security of data are primary concerns to us. Therefore, we guarantee that AsianProducts.com will not disclose to the public any information entered on our site without your explicit permission.

Answer: As a buyer, you may register online though an easy, free, step-by-step registration process. Have your company information available to enter in the registration form and provide complete information to ensure that your membership application is processed properly. Click here to register.

Answer: There is a secret question/answer combination for retrieving passwords. Passwords will not be given out any other way.

Question: How do I submit a RFQ for Quote?
Answer: You only have to complete the RFQ form. As a buyer you may submit any number of RFQ's. Our Trade Managers will diligently notify the suppliers of your RFQ.
